Hoje trago um DIY para forrarem as vossas caixas com mapas! No fim das minhas viagens acabo sempre com um molho de mapas que me custam deitar fora, pois no fundo são recordações. Portanto tenho sempre que arranjar uma solução para os reutilizar sem ficarem acumulados numa gaveta. Então decidi forrar uma caixa de chá que tinha comprado e este é o resultado!
Today I bring a DIY to cover your wood boxes with maps! At the end of my travels I always end up with a bunch of maps that I couldn't throw them away, because in the end the maps are memories. So, I always need to get a solution to upcycle these maps without getting accumulated in a drawer. Then I decided to cover this tea box that I already have brought and this is the result!
Materiais / Materials:
1 - Caixa de madeira / Wood box;
2 - Cola branca / White craft glue;
3 - Mapas / Maps;
4 - Tesoura / Scissor;
5 - Pincel e lápis / Paint Brush and pencil;
6 - Esponja / Sponge;
7 - Tinta guache / Guache paint;
8 - Verniz transparente para madeira / Wood transparent varnish;
1- Marca o tamanho do papel que vais usar com um lápis;
2- Com uma esponja húmida, passa no papel para que esteja amolecido.
3- Coloca cola e espalha com um pincel apropriado (como o da figura dos materiais);
4- Forra o resto da caixa e deixa secar bem;
5- Podes optar por pintar também;
6- No fim coloca uma ou duas camadas de verniz transparente para madeiras.

2 - With a wet sponge, pass on the paper to be softened;
3- Spread the glue all over the place you want with an appropriate brush (as of the figure of the materials);
4 - Cover the rest of the box and let it dry well;
5 - You can choose to paint too;
6 - In the end spread one or two layers of wood transparent varnish.
