E a minha pegada ecológica de plástico é... / And my plastic footprint is...

On the subject of "Free plastic July" I decided to make this quiz about my eventual plastic footprint. Ever since I first read Bea Jonhson's "Zero Waste" book I've come to notice of this problem. It helped me think about how much plastic we use, especially the disposable one. We live in an economy where the practical has become disposable, and I can say that I have been changing some things in my life, others I already have practiced, but I am still far from eliminating the plastic in my routine completely.

So here it goes, and the result was ...

And I was very surprised by the result! It is true that in these months I have avoided the use of plastic, but as I have mentioned, I haven't completely eliminated it yet. I still have a lot to improve!

Simple things I already did, contribute to this result like walking with a fabric bag with me, having a bottle that I can refill whenever I want, especially me, living in Sintra, and the tap water is excellent. When I go to buy fruit, I try to carry it in a fabric bag, and when I get to the cashier, I take it of and usually they weigh with no problem, I have also refused straw, among others.
